COMBATTING DISINFORMATION ONLINE ON THE AGENDA AT FIRST EUROPEAN MEDIA LITERACY WEEK

ECDL Foundation participated in a high level conference in Brussels on 19 March, which featured speeches from the European Commissioner for the Digital Economy and Society, Mariya Gabriel, the Romanian Minister of Culture, Valer-Daniel Breaz, and the Dutch Deputy Permanent Representative to the EU, as well as panel discussions involving broadcasters, news publishers, regulators, academia and international institutions.

Our Information Literacy module, designed to help students develop the skills to critically search for, process and synthesise online information, covers a number of elements of media literacy.
